Football Recap: Creekview Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Creekview's offense. They took a 10-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Forsyth Raiders on Friday. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Landon Barnes threw for 88 yards on eight of 17 attempts. Jackson Shirley was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards. On the ground, Travis Vines rushed for 52 yards.

North Forsyth found their leader in sophomore Cash Martin, who picked up 160 receiving yards and one score. Martin really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 86 yards.

Creekview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Forsyth, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Creekview will challenge Cambridge at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for North Forsyth, they will square off against Lanier at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
