Preview: Glen Lake Lakers vs. Kingsley Stags
Glen Lake is 9-1 against Kingsley since December of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Glen Lake Lakers will look to defend their home court against the Kingsley Stags at 7:00 p.m. Glen Lake is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
On Saturday, Glen Lake beat St. Francis 55-42. Given Glen Lake's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while St. Francis is ranked 280th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Glen Lake found their leader in underclassman Jacob Plamondon, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 17 rebounds. Plamondon is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Benji Allen, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Kingsley came up short against Frankfort on Thursday and fell 51-41. Kingsley has struggled against Frankfort recently, as their contest on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Glen Lake has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. As for Kingsley, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-10.
