Soccer Recap: North Lenoir Takes a Loss

North Lenoir was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 6-1 to the Southwest Onslow Stallions. While losing is never fun, North Lenoir can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 444th, while Southwest Onslow are ranked 144th).

North Lenoir's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Southwest Onslow, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Lenoir will host Rosewood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Lenoir will be up against Rosewood's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.09 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Southwest Onslow, they will welcome James Kenan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
