Meanwhile, Fremd faced Prospect in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Fremd walked away with a 54-44 victory over Prospect.

Fremd's win bumped their record up to 28-5. As for Glenbard West, their victory bumped their record up to 23-12.
