Santa Fe Trail came into Tuesday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Prairie View Buffalos on Tuesday. The Chargers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Buffalos, too.

Alex Strother made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Strother was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games he's played.

In other batting news, Rigley Sleichter was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while going 3-for-5. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Hunter French was another key player, scoring a run and stealing four bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Santa Fe Trail kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matches.

Santa Fe Trail's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Prairie View, they dropped their record down to 0-3-2 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Santa Fe Trail beat the Buffalos by a score of 10-0 later that day.
