Volleyball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Mountain Crest

Mountain Crest came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Stansbury Stallions 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Mountain Crest was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-20, 20-15.

Leading Mountain Crest to victory were Jordan Belles and Ella Malm. Belles had 11 digs, while Malm had seven digs. Belles is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Mountain Crest's victory bumped their record up to 15-10. As for Stansbury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-14.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Mountain Crest will challenge rival Deseret Peak at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stansbury is set to take on their familiar foe Green Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
