Volleyball Recap: Elysian Fields Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Elysian Fields was the 3-1 winner over Waskom when they last played one another on October 4th, but their luck changed this time around. The Yellowjackets fell 3-1 to the Wildcats on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Elysian Fields' defeat dropped their record down to 6-24. As for Waskom, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 17-26.

Elysian Fields and Waskom could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Yellowjackets will face off against Garrison at 4:30 p.m. on Friday with a big rank disadvantage (1261 vs. 600). Meanwhile, Waskom (ranked 1201st) will meet Beckville (ranked 365th) at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
