Hannibal entered their tilt with Quincy on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Blue Devils. That's more bragging rights for the Pirates, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hannibal was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 25-21, 23-25, 22-25, 25-23, 15-12.

Hannibal's victory bumped their record up to 15-5-1. As for Quincy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 14-1.

Hannibal didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Fulton on the 30th. As for Quincy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Rock Island on the 30th.
