Basketball Recap: Gunnison Valley Comes Up Short

Gunnison Valley played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 85-45 defeat at the hands of the Stansbury Stallions. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Gunnison Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Stansbury, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gunnison Valley will square off against Grand County at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Gunnison Valley is facing Grand County at the right time seeing as Grand County is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Stansbury, they and Kanab will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
