Soccer Game Preview: Donoho vs. White Plains

The Donoho Falcons will kick their season off against the White Plains Wildcats on Monday. Kickoff is scheduled at 7:30 p.m.

White Plains is looking to give their home crowd another W after opening their season at home on Thursday. They put the hurt on Cherokee County with a sharp 11-1 win. With the Wildcats ahead 9-1 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

As for Donoho, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the right side of .500 (14-7-1), and they're hoping to kick off an even more successful campaign this year.

Donoho took their win against White Plains in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Donoho since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
