Baseball Recap: Claremore Takes a Loss

Claremore has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.36 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They lost 10-1 to the Hilldale Hornets. The Zebras just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Claremore's loss dropped their record down to 19-6. As for Hilldale, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Claremore will face off against McAlester at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Buffaloes will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Zebras surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hilldale, they will venture away from home to challenge Broken Bow at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
