Football Game Preview: Seaholm Maples vs. Groves Falcons + How To Watch

The Seaholm Maples will take on the Groves Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Seaholm is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 42 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Adams on Friday. They were beaten by the Highlanders 45-7. The contest marked the Maples' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Groves waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Yellowjackets 42-14. Considering the Falcons have won four matchups by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Groves' victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Seaholm, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-3.

Seaholm was taken down by Groves 36-7 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Maples were down 29-0.
