Baseball Recap: Salmon Savages vs. Firth Cougars
After flying high against West Jefferson on Saturday, Salmon came back down to earth. The Savages came up short against the Firth Cougars on Monday, falling 10-2. The Savages were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.
Salmon saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thomas Baumer, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. That double marked the first that Baumer has hit this season.
