Basketball Game Preview: Norte Vista Braves vs. Rubidoux Falcons

The Norte Vista Braves will face off against the Rubidoux Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Rubidoux is hoping to do what Ramona couldn't on Thursday: put an end to Norte Vista's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Norte Vista simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Ramona 105-68. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Rubidoux came up short against Patriot on Thursday and fell 63-56. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost eight in a row.

Norte Vista has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Rubidoux, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Norte Vista was taken down by Rubidoux 76-20 in their previous matchup back in December of 2019. Thankfully for Norte Vista, Abraham Figueroa (who went 9 for 16 on his way to 22 points and eight steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
