Volleyball Recap: Winona Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Winona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Mineola Yellowjackets. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Yellowjackets from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-10.

Winona's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Mineola, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-12.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Winona will square off against rival Quitman at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Mineola is set to take on their familiar foe Eustace at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
