Baseball Recap: Taylor Takes a Loss

Taylor and Father Lopez squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Taylor had to settle for second. They came up short against the Green Wave, falling 16-6. The Wildcats have struggled against the Green Wave recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Drew Moyer was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Jackson Harcus was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Taylor's record is now 7-11. As for Father Lopez, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 7-16 record.

Taylor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Father Lopez, they will square off against Lake Highland Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last three games the Highlanders have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
