While Freeman's win against Thomas Jefferson wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Mavericks escaped with a win on Thursday against the Vikings by the margin of a single free throw, 1-0. The Mavericks haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Freeman's win bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Thomas Jefferson, their defeat was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.
