Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Takes a Loss

Notre Dame was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Palm Desert Aztecs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Aztecs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Thursday.

Notre Dame's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Palm Desert, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.

Notre Dame will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Nuview Bridge at 5:15 p.m. As for Palm Desert, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against King on the 23rd.
