Soccer Game Preview: Saugatuck vs. Schoolcraft

The Saugatuck Trailblazers will face off against the Schoolcraft Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Saugatuck will be strutting in after a victory while Schoolcraft will be coming in after a loss.

Saugatuck took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They came out on top against Lawton by a score of 5-3. The win continues a trend for Saugatuck in their matchups with Lawton: they've now won six in a row.

Saugatuck hit Lawton with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alina Martinson (2), Neave Rewa (2), and Mariela Garcia.

Despite a strong season so far, Schoolcraft has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 4-0 to Vicksburg on Friday.

Saugatuck's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-2. As for Schoolcraft, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Everything went Saugatuck's way against Schoolcraft in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Saugatuck made off with a 7-2 win. Do the Trailblazers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
