Football Recap: West End Patriots vs. Vinemont Eagles        
        
		
             West End was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight  loss. They had to suffer through a   36-6 loss at the hands of the Vinemont Eagles.
  Jaxon Hamby rushed for 54 yards, and also threw for 76 yards and a touchdown.  
 Jackson Mayo was his top target, picking up 55 receiving yards.
 West End's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Vinemont, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West End will take on Cold Springs at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Cold Springs is coming into the  contest with three straight  losses on the road,  meaning West End will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  win. As for Vinemont, they will face off against Hanceville at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Vinemont knows how to get  points on the board -- the  squad has finished with 31 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Hanceville likes a good challenge.
