Baseball Game Preview: Kingston Buccaneers vs. Olympic Trojans

The Kingston Buccaneers will head out to face off against the Olympic Trojans at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Kingston is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Kingston fell victim to North Kitsap and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 9-0.

Meanwhile, Olympic never let their opponents score on Friday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over Rochester. That eight run margin sets a new team best for the Trojans this season.

Olympic's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-7. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Kingston, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Kingston came out on top in a nail-biter against Olympic when the teams last played back in May of 2024, sneaking past 5-4. Will the Buccaneers repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
