Baseball Game Preview: Southwest Guilford Cowboys vs. Ragsdale Tigers

The Southwest Guilford Cowboys will square off against the Ragsdale Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

On Tuesday, Southwest Guilford needed a bit of extra time to put away Page. They won by a run and slipped past the Pirates 4-3. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cowboys.

Meanwhile, Ragsdale came tearing into Tuesday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Vikings.

Ragsdale pushed their record up to 17-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Southwest Guilford, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.
