Basketball Recap: Halls Comes Up Short

If Halls was feeling good fresh off their 67-29 takedown of West Carroll last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Halls Tigers were outmatched by the Middleton Tigers and fell 60-27. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against Halls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-31 last Friday.

Middleton got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordan Woody out in front who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. That's the most boards Woody has posted since back in December of 2024. Kaleb Holmes was another key player, going 5 of 7 en route to 13 points.

Halls has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Middleton, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season.

Halls and Clarksburg will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Halls is facing Clarksburg at the right time seeing as Clarksburg is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Middleton, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Bradford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Middleton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.8 points per game this season.
