Soccer Recap: Cuyahoga Heights Takes a Loss

Cuyahoga Heights managed to keep up with Oberlin until halftime on Monday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Red Wolves came up short against the Phoenix, falling 3-0. Cuyahoga Heights were not able to make up for their defeat to Oberlin from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Cuyahoga Heights dropped their record down to 4-7-1 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Oberlin, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Cuyahoga Heights didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Wickliffe on the 30th. As for Oberlin, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Keystone on the 1st.
