It was a proper cat-fight when Clarion Area duked it out withKeystone on Friday. The Clarion Area Bobcats came out on top against the Keystone Panthers by a score of 57-46. The win was nothing new for the Bobcats as they're now sitting on six straight.

Clarion Area got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dylan Smail out in front who posted 12 points in addition to eight boards and seven assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Smail, who scored 12 points.

Clarion Area's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Keystone, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-4.

Clarion Area will be playing in front of their home fans against Punxsutawney at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Keystone, they will head out to take on Lakeview at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeview knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Keystone likes a good challenge.
