Basketball Recap: Hamilton Takes a Loss

Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a hard 68-54 fall against the Power Center Academy Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 88-69 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Power Center Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Michael Wynn, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 15 points and four steals. With that strong performance, Wynn is now averaging an impressive 2.1 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Temarcus Black, who went 7 for 12 en route to 14 points.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Power Center Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Power Center Academy beat Hamilton by a score of 74-66 on Wednesday.
