After a string of three wins, the Mid-Pacific Institute Owls's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They were dealt a 101-50 loss at the hands of Los Alamitos.
Despite the loss, Mid-Pacific Institute still got an impressive performance from Logan Mason, who scored 23 points along with six rebounds. The contest was Mason's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Darius Chizer was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Mid-Pacific Institute struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Mid-Pacific Institute's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Los Alamitos, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
