The Zion Chapel Rebels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 15th straight defeat. They took a serious blow against New Brockton, falling 70-11. Zion Chapel has struggled against the Gamecocks recently, as their match on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

New Brockton found their leader in underclassman Casey Williams, who scored 25 points along with seven steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Ariana Smith, who scored ten points along with six assists and five steals.

Zion Chapel dropped their record down to 1-15 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 13.4 points per game. As for New Brockton, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 16-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Zion Chapel will take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Elba is coming into the game hot, having won their last 13 games. As for New Brockton, they will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
