Basketball Recap: Jefferson's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Jefferson came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They had just enough and edged the Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS out 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Grizzlies have posted since December 27, 2024.

Jefferson's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8. As for Hillsdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Jefferson and Hillsdale could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Jefferson will face off against Carlmont at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday down 345 places (554 vs. 209). Jefferson is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home. Similarly, Hillsdale (ranked 672nd) will meet Half Moon Bay (ranked 145th) at 7:45 p.m. on Friday.
