Preview: Dickinson Rams vs. Glasgow Dragons
Dickinson is 0-7 against Glasgow since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Dickinson Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Glasgow Dragons at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Delaware (Dickinson is ranked 42nd, while Glasgow is ranked 41st).
Dickinson unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to Christiana 32-26.
Meanwhile, Glasgow got themselves on the board against DuPont on Saturday, but DuPont never followed suit. They breezed by the Tigers at home to the tune of 51-0. Glasgow pushed the score to 45-0 by the end of the third, a deficit DuPont had no chance of recovering from.
Walter Bess was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 35 yards and two touchdowns.
Another reason for the win was Glasgow's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for eight sacks. It was a group effort, with three guys contributing.
Christiana's victory bumped their season record to 2-6 while Dickinson's loss dropped theirs to 3-5.
Dickinson was dealt a bruising 54-8 defeat at the hands of Glasgow in their previous meeting back in November of 2022. Can Dickinson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
