Soccer Recap: Phoenix Academy Has No Trouble Against Piedmont Classical

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jordan-Matthews, Phoenix Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Piedmont Classical Bobcats with a sharp 4-1 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Phoenix Academy needed considering they were shut out in their previous matchup.

They hit Piedmont Classical with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Josh Littlejohn, Jaden Adams, Prayas Shrestha, and Sean Rogers.

Phoenix Academy picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-5-1. As for Piedmont Classical, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

Phoenix Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bobcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
