Basketball Game Preview: Paideia Pythons vs. Westminster Wildcats + How To Watch

The Paideia Pythons will venture away from home to challenge the Westminster Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Paideia got the win against Mays by a conclusive 48-24.

Meanwhile, Westminster earned a 46-33 win over Towers on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won seven in a row.

Paideia better focus on containing Julia Stallworth and Sophia Israel as the pair were huge in Westminster's win. Stallworth dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds, while Israel dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylah Green, who posted nine points.

Paideia now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Westminster, their record now sits at 2-0.

Things could have been worse for Paideia, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 47-33 loss to Westminster when the teams last played back in January. Can the Pythons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
