Nash Central typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Franklinton proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 46-42 win over the Nash Central Bulldogs. This was a revenge game for the Red Rams: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in January, they had to take a 49-39 defeat.

Nash Central's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was JaKayla Gay, who went 9-for-18 on her way to 22 points and five assists. The game was Gay's fourth in a row with at least 17 points. Marquasia Warren was another key player, going 5-for-7 en route to 13 points.

Franklinton is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season. As for Nash Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-8.

Coming up, Franklinton will challenge Rocky Mount at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Rocky Mount comes in on 16 and Franklinton on three. Nash Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
