Syracuse lost to Conestoga back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Rockets came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rockets.

While Syracuse might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Conestoga scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 17-25, 25-23, 25-22.

Audrey Liesemeyer paced Syracuse's offense, picking up 21 kills. Liesemeyer got some help from Ava Mohr and her 34 assists. Mohr was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Syracuse's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-9. As for Conestoga, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.

Coming up, Syracuse will head out on the road to face off against Falls City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Conestoga, they will welcome Arlington on Thursday.
