Softball Recap: Evanston Comes Up Short

Evanston lost against Glenbrook North back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildkits lost 9-3 to the Spartans. The Wildkits' loss continues a trend for the team, making it six in a row.

Olivia Stanczak was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. That stolen base was her first of the season.

Evanston's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Glenbrook North, they now have a winning record of 13-12.

Coming up, Evanston will take on Maine South at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildkits' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 6.7 runs per game this season. As for Glenbrook North, they will host Glenbrook South at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
