Mt. Enterprise had won four straight games and Kaegan Ash did his part to make it five on Friday. The Wildcats took their contest with ease, bagging a 52-8 win over the Cushing Bearkats for which the team can thank Ash, who rushed for 237 yards and six scores on only 11 carries. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 14th straight game with at least 136 rushing yards dating back to last season.

Mt. Enterprise's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Cushing, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Mt. Enterprise and Cushing will both be playing Grapeland the next time they take the field. The Wildcats will host the Sandies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Bearkats will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
