Volleyball Recap: Stewartville Now 9-1 over Last Ten Games

Stewartville saw some tournament action on Saturday. They skirted past the Apple Valley Eagles 2-1.

Leading Stewartville to victory were Reagan Mittelstadt and Clara Theobald. Mittelstadt had 18 digs and two assists, while Theobald had 12 assists and eight digs. That's the most digs Mittelstadt has posted since back in September. Dream Petersohn also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Stewartville is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season. As for Apple Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-8.

Stewartville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Goodhue on the 14th. As for Apple Valley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Burnsville on the 14th.
