Volleyball Recap: Gregory Takes a Loss

Gregory lost against Platte/Geddes back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Gorillas fell just short of the Black Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Gorillas have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Gregory actually scored more points across those five sets (103-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 13-25, 25-21, 25-19, 15-13.

Gregory's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Platte/Geddes, their win ended a four-match drought on the road and puts them at 9-12.

Coming up, Gregory will square off against Colome at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Platte/Geddes, they will welcome Miller at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
