Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Damien Lopez and Logan Bradshaw Lead Sabino to Victory

Sabino won the last time they faced Amphitheater and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sabino Sabercats blew past the Amphitheater Panthers 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sabercats.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Sabino took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-15, 25-12.

Leading Sabino to victory were Logan Bradshaw and Damien Lopez. Bradshaw had two aces and one block, while Lopez had ten digs. What's more, Bradshaw racked up 21 assists, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

Sabino's record now sits at 2-0. As for Amphitheater, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Sabino will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Augustine Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on March 24th. As for Amphitheater, they will face off against The Gregory School at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
