Volleyball Recap: Van Buren Takes a Loss

Van Buren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Rogers Mountaineers. The Pointers were not able to make up for their loss to the Mountaineers from their previous meeting back in August of 2023.

Van Buren's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Rogers, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Van Buren wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Shiloh Christian on the 13th. As for Rogers, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Pottsville on the 13th.
