Cabrini has gone a perfect 4-0 against Cranbrook Kingswood recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Cranbrook Kingswood will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Cabrini extended their winning streak to three two weeks ago. Everything went the Monarchs' way against Detroit Cristo Rey as they made off with a 17-7 win.

Catherine Schumm was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and six unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in ten consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2024.
In other batting news, Jodi Browning was a standout: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Elena DelCotto, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.
Cabrini kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.5 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 12.4.
Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Cranbrook Kingswood's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They came up short against Lutheran Northwest, falling 23-13.
Cabrini pushed their record up to 3-10 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 20.7 runs over those games. As for Cranbrook Kingswood, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
Everything went Cabrini's way against Cranbrook Kingswood when the teams last played back in May of 2024, as Cabrini made off with a 23-2 victory. Will the Monarchs repeat their success, or do the Cranes have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
