Soccer Game Preview: Coventry vs. Ravenna

The Coventry Comets will head out on the road to square off against the Ravenna Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Coventry managed to keep up with Norton until halftime on Saturday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Comets lost 3-0 to the Panthers. Coventry haven't had much luck with Norton recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Meanwhile, Ravenna fell victim to Woodridge and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Ravenna's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-1. As for Coventry, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-16.

Coventry might still be hurting after the 7-1 loss they got from Ravenna in their previous meeting two weeks ago. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Comets were down 3-0.
