Softball Recap: Mohawk Area Comes Up Short

Mohawk Area lost to Neshannock back in May of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Warriors took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaitlyn Hare and Addy Moskal did some serious damage despite the final result: Hare went 1-for-3 with one home run, while Moskal went 2-for-4 with one triple and one RBI. That triple was Moskal's first of the season. Another player making a difference was Callie Fehrenbach, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one double.

Mohawk Area's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Neshannock, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Mohawk Area will take on Hampton at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. Neshannock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
