Volleyball Recap: Cimarron Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Cimarron proved they can win big on Monday (they won by three) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Ulysses Tigers, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Bluejays, who have now won three contests in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Cimarron got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 23-25, 26-24.

Kynlee Frink had a dynamite game, getting 18 digs.

Cimarron was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They are a perfect 7-0 when they serve at least ten aces.

Cimarron's win bumped their record up to 17-11. As for Ulysses, their loss dropped their record down to 10-19-3.

Coincidentally, Cimarron and Ulysses will both be playing Goodland the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Cowboys at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bluejays will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
