Basketball Game Preview: Springer Red Devils vs. New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners

The Springer Red Devils will face off against the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Springer will be strutting in after a win while New Mexico School for the Deaf will be coming in after a defeat.

Springer took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They came out on top against Logan by a score of 53-44.

Meanwhile, New Mexico School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Roy/Mosquero and fell 70-12. While losing is never fun, the Roadrunners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Mexico basketball rankings (they are ranked 139th, while the Blue/Lady Blue are ranked 21st).

Springer's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for New Mexico School for the Deaf, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-14.

Everything came up roses for Springer against New Mexico School for the Deaf in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 60-22 win.
