Basketball Recap: Prairie City-Monroe Comes Up Short

Prairie City-Monroe lost against Nevada back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs lost to the Nevada Cubs on the road by a 55-36 margin. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Prairie City-Monroe now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Nevada, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-3.

Prairie City-Monroe is taking a road trip to take on South Hamilton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Prairie City-Monroe is facing South Hamilton at the right time seeing as South Hamilton is stuck on a 20-game losing streak. As for Nevada, they will challenge Perry at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Nevada knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Perry likes a good challenge.
