Volleyball Recap: Greenville HomeSchool Athletics Archers vs. Avery Bulldogs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Hopkins, Greenville HomeSchool Athletics was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Avery Bulldogs as they made off with a 3-0 win.
Greenville HomeSchool Athletics never let Avery on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-23, 25-17.
Greenville HomeSchool Athletics can attribute much of their success to Mary Carter, who had 14 digs and two aces.
Carter wasn't the only good server: Greenville HomeSchool Athletics was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 13 consecutive contests.
