Basketball Game Preview: Winter Warriors vs. Clayton Bears

The Winter Warriors will head out on the road to take on the Clayton Bears at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Winter sitting on three straight victories and Clayton on six.

Last Friday, Winter strolled past Birchwood with points to spare, taking the game 62-46.

Meanwhile, Clayton got the win against Flambeau on Friday by a conclusive 50-28. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.

Winter is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. As for Clayton, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Things could have been worse for Winter, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 58-42 loss to Clayton in their previous matchup back in December of 2024. Can Winter avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
