Volleyball Recap: Farmington Falls to Northside in First Game of Season

Farmington unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Northside Grizzlies by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Cardinals were not able to make up for their loss to the Grizzlies from their previous meeting back in October of 2019.

Farmington actually scored more points across those five sets (109-95), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 9-25, 25-22, 20-25, 25-23, 16-14.

Farmington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Huntsville on the 25th. As for Northside, they have also already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Shiloh Christian on the 25th.
