Baseball Recap: Morgan Park Falls Short of Simeon in the Playoffs

Morgan Park and Simeon squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Morgan Park had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wolverines by a score of 4-3. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, with their most recent loss being a 4-0 defeat back in May.

Jayvion Price was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Gabriel Toussaint, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Morgan Park's loss dropped their record down to 15-11-3. As for Simeon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-12-1.

As of now, neither Morgan Park nor the Wolverines have any future games scheduled.
